Windmill Days is accountable to and reports regularly to the Village Board. The Village Board is incredibly supportive and always has Baldwin's best interests at heart.

Who They Serve
United Fire & Rescue is a volunteer organization covering over 180 square miles in eastern St. Croix County, serving four villages and nine townships with approximately 15,000 residents. The response area includes about 4,000 residential and 500 commercial properties, along with agricultural sites.

Baldwin Area EMS provides medical emergency services to rural communities in Western Wisconsin. As a community-based ambulance service, they proudly serve about 13,500 residents across the Villages of Baldwin, Hammond, Wilson, Woodville, and several surrounding towns—covering 220 square miles in St. Croix County and responding to around
Baldwin Area EMS provides medical emergency services to rural communities in Western Wisconsin. As a community-based ambulance service, they proudly serve about 13,500 residents across the Villages of Baldwin, Hammond, Wilson, Woodville, and several surrounding towns—covering 220 square miles in St. Croix County and responding to around 1,500 calls annually.
Dispatch for 911 emergencies is coordinated through the St. Croix County Emergency Communication Center. Baldwin Area EMS works closely with local fire departments, police, and the sheriff’s office to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
Their ambulances are staffed with Paramedics and EMTs trained to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) for traumatic injuries and sudden illness. With advanced equipment and direct communication with hospitals, they help reduce response times and improve patient outcomes.
Beyond emergency response, Baldwin Area EMS offers inter-facility transport and public education classes, including CPR/AED and first aid.
Windmill Days partners with Baldwin EMS to ensure the safety of all our festival attendees.
