Windmill Park – A Charming Roadside Retreat


Windmill Park is a peaceful two-acre green space perfect for travelers and residents looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

The park is named after the Dutch windmill built in 1987 by local volunteers. While the windmill is non-functional, its blades still turn during the summer months, adding a unique and nostalgic charm to the park.


Windmill Park Features include:

  • A small stream (Baldwin Creek) running along the northern edge 
  • Picnic tables and a playground area 
  • Convenient parking and public restrooms
     

Whether you're stopping by for a break or spending the afternoon, Windmill Park offers a welcoming space to unwind.

Bailey Park – A Historic Community Gathering Space


Bailey Park, named in honor of Baldwin’s founder D.R. Bailey, is a charming one-acre park located on the east end of Main Street. This welcoming green space is perfect for both quiet relaxation and lively community events.


Baldwin's Bailey Park features include:

  • Picnic tables and a covered shelter 
  • Grill and gazebo 
  • Playground equipment 
  • Convenient parking area
     

Bailey Park is a favorite spot for passive recreation and also plays a central role in local festivals and community gatherings.


It’s also home to the Main Street Farmers Market, held rain or shine from late May through mid-October, every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Stop by for fresh produce, handmade goods, and a true taste of Baldwin’s community spirit!

Creamery Park – A Historic Space for Community Celebration


Creamery Park sits on the former site of the once-thriving Baldwin Creamery, which proudly served the community from 1892 to 1969.


The 10-acre Creamery Park offers:

  • Shaded areas with mature trees 
  • Open green space perfect for relaxing or gathering 
  • Restrooms and convenient seating with benches
     

Creamery Park is also the proud home of Windmill Days — Baldwin’s signature outdoor celebration and a three-time nominee for Best Outdoor Event! Whether you're enjoying a peaceful afternoon or joining in the festivities, Creamery Park is a cherished part of Baldwin’s past and present.

 Mill Pond Park – Baldwin’s Premier Outdoor Space 


At 27.4 acres, Mill Pond Park is Baldwin’s largest park and a hub for year-round recreation. 


Mill Pond Park features:

  • Softball and baseball fields 
  • A tennis court
  • Soccer field
  • Recreational skating areas
  • A scenic picnic area for families and gatherings
     

Mill Pond Park is also home to the United Civic Center, which includes our indoor hockey arena, making it a favorite destination for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Heritage Park – A Growing Space for a Growing Community


Dutch Heritage Park was developed alongside the growth of the Heritage subdivision and continues to serve as a valued recreation area for local residents.


This well-equipped park offers:

  • A playground for kids of all ages 
  • Ball fields and soccer fields for organized sports and casual play 
  • Gazebos, grills, and open green space for gatherings and picnics 
  • Newly built restrooms for added convenience
     

Open to all residents of the Village of Baldwin, Heritage Park is a perfect spot for family fun, community sports, and neighborhood events.

Wintergreen Park – A Peaceful Escape into Nature
Nestled on 60th Avenue, just across from Heritage Park, Wintergreen Park spans 32 acres of beautiful wooded landscape. With a mix of pines and hardwoods, this tranquil area offers a perfect setting to walk, unwind, and observe local wildlife.


Nature Meets Fun at Wintergreen Park:

  • Scenic walking trails through peaceful forest 
  • Opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing 
  • A quiet, natural escape right within the Village
     

In the winter months, Wintergreen Park transforms into a seasonal playground for sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing — fun for all ages!

Little Creek Park – Small but Full of Fun


Though it's the smallest park in our community, Little Creek Park offers a great neighborhood space for casual ball games and basketball fun.


Thanks to the hard work of a local volunteer group, the park was thoughtfully updated in 2017, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for families and kids in the area.


Perfect for a quick game or a relaxed afternoon outdoors, Little Creek Park is a small gem with big community spirit!
